トーマス•デマンド展内の廊下から、作りかけの東京の街の模型を
見たときから、完成した模型を見たいと思いました。
その模型は、特撮ものの展覧会のためであることを知って、ますます行きたいと
思いました。
そして、実現！ 嬉しい！
トーマス•デマンドの展覧会は下記
I saw a model of Tokyo town in a half-way state, and I wanted to see the completed diorama.
And a little later I found out that this model was to be part of the 'TOKUSATSU Exhibition' ; I wanted to see this exhibition more and more!
I made it! I was really pleased I could visit it!

この展覧会では、庵野秀明氏が博物館館長、
樋口真嗣氏が副館長という設定です。
The set-up is that Hideaki Anno is

| チラシ(表/裏) 巨神兵は、宮崎駿氏の漫画"風の谷のナウシカ"(1982-1994)及び アニメ"風の谷のナウシカ"(1984)に登場する巨大な人工生命体です。 アニメ"風の谷のナウシカ"で庵野秀明氏は 巨神兵の原画の一部を担当しています。(ラフ原画の展示あり) 会場内で見られる特撮短編映画:"巨神兵 東京に現わる" の企画は、庵野秀明氏、監督したのは、樋口真嗣氏。 庵野秀明氏は、TVアニメ'エヴァンゲリオン' (1995-6)の 監督として知られています。 この展覧会のタイトルの中にもその名があるのですから、 それはそれは有名な方なのでしょう。 彼の名前があることによって、 人が呼べると主催者は考えたのでしょう。 けれども、私は彼を知りませんでした。 そのアニメも名前は知っていますが見た事がありませんし、 これからも見ないでしょう。 好みが原始的なので、機械系？のアニメは苦手です。 Leaflet (Front / Back) Kyoshinnhei : a huge Artificial life, is in "Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind" : Hayao Miyazak's Manga and his animation film. Hideaki Anno took charge of part of 'Kyoshinnhei' in the film. (His drawings are in the exhibition.) A short film : "Kyoshinhei appears in Tokyo" (2012) is in this exhibition. Planning : Hideaki Anno, Director : Shinji Higuchi. Hideaki Anno is well known as a director of TV animation "Neon Genesis Evangelion" (1995-6 in Japan), although I did not know it and haven't watched it. His name is in the Japanese title of this exhibition, indeed, he is very famous. They thought his name would attract more visitors. However, I did not know about him. Even though I know the animation title, I haven't watched it, nor will I. My taste is primitive, so I am weak about machinery-type animation. |

この美術館で初めて見る行列のためのチェーン。 この展覧会が東京現代美術館で開催される理由がよくわからない けれども、とにかく、楽しい内容でした。 私は４時間!も会場に居てしまいました。 この日は9月5日、前日4日に来場者15万人を突破したそうです。 東京現代美術館でその数字！ ここで行われた理由もわかる気がしてきます。 It was the first time I saw a chain to manage the queue. I do not know why this exhibition was held in the Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo. Anyway, it was fun! I stayed there for 4 hours! I visited there on the 5th of September. By then they had already had more than one hundred and fifty thousand visitors. If many visitors in the Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo!!! Now I can understand why they held this here. |

これ、70カ所もあるのですよ。 普通 20~40くらいではないでしょうか？ 彼らの意気込みが伝わってきます。 私なりに'70'をきちんと聞いたけれど、会場が混んでいたり、 たくさん見るものがあったり、展示説明があったり、 自分でエキサイトしすぎて、記憶に残りませんでした。 聞いていた時は、楽しめたのですが....因に、音声ガイドは500円。 Leaflet for 'Audio Guide' (↑Front /↓Back) (This is wrinkled, sorry) The sound guide has 70 explanations, hence the usefulness of for this leaflet. I think normally there are 20 - 40. I feel their enthusiasm. I listened to all '70', of the guide properly,
although I do not remember most of them,
Anyway, the guide was ¥500.because I think there were so many people, displays, explanations and I was so so excited. However, when I was listening, I was enjoying it.  |

企画者、スタッフが若く健常者であることがわかります。

彼らはこの展覧会で成功したようなので、こういう声は必要ないのでしょうね。

| Art 初代ウルトラマンをデザインした成田 亨 氏 (1929-2002) の 仕事やコメントが会場内に展示されていました。 興味深く拝見しました。 ウィキペディアでも説明されているので、 興味のある方はどうぞ→★ Toru Narita (1929 - 2002) designed the first 'Ultraman'. In the exhibition, there are displays of his work and comments. I looked at them and I was interested in them. Japanese Wikipedia explains about him and his work, although only in Japanese, sorry.→★

| 特撮短編映画 : "巨神兵 東京に現わる"のパンフレット 図書館で中を見ました。買っていません。すみません。 そうそう、感想。特撮の技術、場面はすご〜〜イ！ ストーリー？はい？ストーリーって？ この映画の目的は達成されたのではないでしょうか？ Pamphlet of Short film : "Kyoshinhei appears in Tokyo" (2012) I looked at it in their library. I did not buy it. Sorry! Oh! Yes! My impression of this film? The technique and scenes of TOKUSATSU are great. About story... yes? What is the story??? I think they achieve the purpose of their film. |

私が興奮しつつ、この展覧会のことを、大阪に住む友人Kに話したら、彼女はキングギドラが好きだと言いました。
私と違って、彼女は'エヴァンゲリオン'の監督が庵野秀明氏であることを知っていましたし、この展覧会に私よりも、ずっと行きたかったのではないかと思います。
展覧会の会場には、東宝の倉庫内 : 「特殊美術係倉庫」を作り出している展示があり、そこにキングギドラの着ぐるみがありました。
でも撮影禁止.....(涙)
他で見つけたキングギドラ関係画像を２点と、ゴジラの着ぐるみの私の写真1点を、ここでお見せします。
そうそう、彼女を含め、他の関西ファンのためにも、大阪展(関西展)をぜひ開催してください。
15万人という数字を出したのですから、可能でしょう？

I became excited, when I talked by phone about this exhibition with my friend K who lives in Osaka, and she said she likes King Ghidorah.
She knew Hideaki Anno is the director "Neon Genesis Evangelion", and I think she would like to visit this exhibition even more than me.
In the exhibition, in the section Special Art Store of TOHO, there is King Ghidorah's costume.
Although this exhibition does not allow photographs.... (tears), I do show two pictures of King Ghidorah from different sites, and my picture of Godzilla.
Oh! Yes!
Please have the exhibition in Osaka too, for her and other fans in Osaka or Kansai.
You did have one hundred and fifty thousand visitors so far,
so you can do it.
